ADRIATIC LNG NAMES ALISTAIR ROUTLEDGE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Milan, May 5th, 2010 – Terminale GNL Adriatico Srl, commonly known as Adriatic LNG, announces that on March 26th 2010 Alistair Routledge has been designated by the Board of Directors to serve as the company’s Managing Director.

Alistair Routledge began his career with Mobil in 1990.  He has held various technical, supervisory and managerial assignments for Mobil and ExxonMobil with assignments in the United Kingdom, United States and Venezuela.

Since July 2007 he has been working as the UK Operations Manager for ExxonMobil’s North Sea Production business unit.  Alistair earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and an MBA degree from Strathclyde Graduate Business School, Glasgow.

Alistair Routledge replaces D. Scott Miller, who had successfully managed Adriatic LNG through its construction and start-up phases since  May 2005.


Adriatic LNG was established in 2005 by Qatar Terminal Limited (45%) - a Qatar Petroleum subsidiary, ExxonMobil Italiana Gas (45%) - an ExxonMobil subsidiary, and Edison (10%). The Adriatic LNG Terminal is the world’s first offshore Gravity Based Structure (GBS) for unloading, storing and regasifying Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

With its 8 billion cubic meters capacity, approximately equal to 10% of the country’s entire gas consumption, the Adriatic LNG Terminal intends to make a significant contribution to increasing and diversifying Italy’s traditional sources of energy imports, thus contributing to the security and competitiveness of Italy’s energy supplies.
